The Park is located 14 kilometers from where the old Nairobi-Naivasha route turns off. The 68 square kilometer Hell’s Gate or Njorowa Gorge is located in the Nakuru District of the Rift Valley Province.

Hell’s Gate National Park is one of just two Kenyan parks where climbing, walking, and biking are permitted and offers a diversity of fauna, rare flora, and several bird species.
