😀The best safari experience We were given a 6 day/5 night tour. The destinations were Amboseli, Nakuru, and Masai... Mara. I was relieved that the pick up was on time. We traveled with two small children and they were very flexible to accommodate our children's situation. We had a car breakdown problem on the way, but backup arrived immediately and there were no delays in our itinerary. The agent and driver were friendly and wonderfully responsive to our needs. The vehicle was cleaned each day and was very comfortable. We were able to see all the Big Five. We would use them again if we go on another safari tour.read more

Me and my friend booked a 3 days tour that included the Masai Mara reserve and the Masai Village. Furthermore, we... stayed for 2 nights at the AA lodge in Mara on an all incuded basis. Everything was just perfect and of the highest standards. Starting with the kind attitude at the time of the initial contact with the company, the high availability, flexibility and the adaptation of the best package according to our request when at each stage we were sent the tour offers according to the adjustments we requested. Later, when booking everything was well documented and receipts and documents detailing the entire trip were sent to us immediately. Later, we had a super professional guide and driver - Manu, who speaks fluent English is very experienced in doing safari trips. He was always on time, gave us detailed explanations about the animals in the reserve and about multiple issues in Kenya in general, very courteous and caring with a very pleasant and friendly attitude. We received special Safari hats as a gift and mineral drinking water was supplied during all trip. In addition all the coordination with the local authorities was perfectly done and everything went smoothly. Finally, the AA lodge were we stayed was an amazing place, the food was great, the lodge was spacious and clean and the staff were really courteous. The highlights of the tour were seeing lions from very close, seeing a live kill of a buffalo by a hyena and visiting the Masai tribe. As soon as I expressed my interest for a Kenyan safari package online, Meschak was in touch with me offering his expert... advise and details. Although initially we wanted to do tour in Decmber 2022, with some other work we had to reschedule it to March 2023. Throughout this time period Meschak was in touch with me where he promptly answered our questions, and we negotiated over the itinerary, accomadation options and cost. This initial phase established the fact that they are very professional and always wanted to provide the best to their clients. On the day of our arrival in Nairobi, Meshack greeted us warmly and made sure we felt comfortable and our first day is perfect. We had a driver assigned at a reasonable cost for our first and only day in Nairobi and he gave us a good overview of Nairobi city and other closeby attractions which we enjoyed a lot. On day 2 we were greeted by Francis who became a part of our family for the next 7 days of the tour. He was very professional , polite, knowledgeable, respectful and patient which we loved as we had very long drives with him within parks as well as from one location to another. We highly recommend him as a driver/guide. Overall the itinerary was very well prepared with lot of thought given to make sure we were not too tired and we had enough time to experience the different landscapes and animals in lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara and Amboseli. On the last day Meschak met us again to say good bye and wanted to know our feedback so they can improve further. We surely recommend Alligator Adventures and Safaris without any doubt. We booked an 8 day safari across Kenya and Tanzania and we had an incredible experience! Right from the planning... process to the execution and support during the trip - everything was perfect! During the planning process, Meshack was very proactive and patient with answering l our questions and giving helpful recommendations. When we landed in Kenya, he greeted us warmly at the airport and introduced us to our guide, Francis, who was very knowledgeable and organised. Most importantly, the airlines (Saudia) lost our luggage and Meshack went out of his way to ensure that we got it back in record time and planned the delivery to us in Masai Mara. It made us feel truly supported and taken care of! All our game drives were meticulously planned by Francis and we had some wonderful sightings! The hotel arrangements and everything else was brilliantly taken care of as well! Would most definitely go with them for subsequent bookings as well!read more

We were away for a 10 day private Safari with Alligator Adventures Tours & Safaris in August 2022. We were both super... happy with everything ranging from the initial planning stage to the trip itself. ��In the planning stage Meshak was very helpful from start and made sure that we together with him planned a trip that would suit us and our preferences perfectly. He always answered fast and came with very good suggestions after hearing our thoughts and preferences.��The trip itself was also fantastic. After being warmly welcomed at the airport we set off with our guide, Edvin, who we are super happy with. He was both knowledgeable and kind, and always made sure that we got the best game drives and the best views. He always were able to answer our 1000 questions and always did so with a smile. Meanwhile, he also went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time and were happy and comfortable. What an amazing holiday. Everything went smoothly, Meshack and Josef were very welcoming, we did loads in Nairobi I... hadn’t expected to do which was a lovely surprise - Josef was very knowledgable throughout and flexible to take us wherever we wanted to go. The travel to the Masai Mara was excellent - our driver (Kirore - spelling?) there was very accommodating and also knowledgeable. We stayed at Governors & Little Governors - such helpful, polite, friendly staff, blown away (pun intended) by the balloon safari, the sites of both are perfect, everything very clean, all needs accommodated for. I travelled to Kenya 25 years ago and I do not remember there being such large groups of animals, we saw all the ‘Big 5’ bar the rhino which is very impressive for only 3 days in the Masai Mara! The animals all look healthy too - whatever the reserve are doing it is working! A fantastic time has by all - do I recommend Meshack and his company - absolutely yes!read more

An eye opening & wonderful journey !! We had arranged a private 12 days Kenya safari tour with Alligator Adventures... Tours & Safaris for 4 us (all ladies) in end of Jul 2018. The Boss- Mershak has been helpful to plan a perfect trip which fits our budget – included the parks we asked for. He answered all questions that we came up in a very timely manner & pacify some of our concerns such as transportation, what to bring , temperature, mosquitoes, immunization, drinking water etc. The main concern we had before signing up with Alligator was it’s very lack of reviews in the internet on Alligator tours - there were only a handful review and the most recent one was being in year 2016. To make things worse was Alligators is not a member of KATO (Kenya Association Tour Operators) . This means we have no means of assistance if Alligator couldn’t deliver what it promise or worse – we got scammed.. Mershak provided us the email contact of his last 2 guests, and I managed to get in contact with them. They were very prompt in giving us the feedback and have only good things to comment about Alligator. Friends were asking why in the first place we shortlisted Alligator, one of us likes the name Alligator and also the other 2 tours company after initial sending us a quote , didn’t follow up with us. In the past we also have positive experience when dealing with small time tour operator which offer more personalized services thus we don’t mind to take some risk . In order to put our mind at ease & show his sincerity , Mershak offer us the payment arrangement - 20% deposit thru TT upon confirmation of booking , 70% to be paid in cash upon our arrival in Nairobi and the balance 10% upon completion of the tour. We arrived very late but he still greeted us at the airport . The following morning , he came to the hotel & introduced us to our guide cum driver Obama. Obama is fantastic. He was kind, honest and we trusted him . He was a very reliable & adept driver and able to show us more animals than we ever expected. He has an uncanny ability to locate the animals that we wanted to see. By the fourth day into the tour, we have already spotted the African big 5s. We personally think one of the reason we enjoyed the tour so much was because of him. We proclaim ourselves as not animal lovers - just wanted to experience a different types of holiday instead of the typical holiday to beaches, mountains & cities we wanted to see some animals , the wildebeest migration & savannah. We were expecting after a few days we will be bored. But it was never the case every day Obama makes the safari game drives interesting and fun with his vast knowledge and great sense of humor. He knows all the animals & birds names and he expect us the same from us. Everyday we are like sitting for exam/ quizzes ….so we look forward to making new discovery . . We even took photos from the book that he has “ Birds of Kenya” and do revision during the long journey from one place to another. Furthermore we could ask him anything including questions about life in Kenya in general, and he also taught us some simple Swahili language. From his interaction with other guides out there , we can see he is well respected. From the first day until the last hug goodbye with Obama we have only good things to say!. He was very accommodating but he is also very eager to show us everything …at times we wanted to sleep late .. but he somehow manage to persuade us to leave early and we get to see some of the best highlights …eg the sunrise scene with a giraffe in front of Mt. Kilimanjaro at the background in Ambosseli. We believe that we got almost every highlight during the trip, so we couldn't be any happier ticking off our bucket list. We were never rushed and Obama did all he could to get us good pictures. We were concerned that all of us only have auto camera with built in zoom as compared to others with Dslr & huge lenses but we managed to get some great photos because Obama always make it a point to get us as close as possible and also perfect angle .. thus we have lots of photos to be proud off. We definitely recommends Alligator tours with Obama as the guide. We are happy with the tour . It is definitely value for money. We experienced the vastness and beauty of the savannah and saw all the wildlife imaginable – the big 5, hippos giraffes, zebras, cheetahs & plenty of bird species, lions and ultimately, the migration of thousands of wildebeest. It was amazing how close we can get to all the animals and how relaxed most of them watching us back. The weather was great. All the lodgings provided by Alligator was good and some were the best that we have been especially Base Camp Explorer Masai Mara the staff were so fun & food was remarkable.
